The Flower Pots Inn is one of Hampshire’s favourite independent country pubs, located in the village of Cheriton, near Alresford.  The “Pots” is welcoming, friendly and a busy destination!   We have a loyal customer base who enjoy our levels of service, quality of food and support to our staff, and of course, our own traditional Flower Pots cask ales, which we also deliver throughout Hampshire and beyond.

We are looking to recruit a motivated Chef to join us as an integral member of the team.  This is real opportunity which attracts a highly competitive package and is available with immediate effect.

The appointment of another Chef is a key milestone for us moving forward and we look forward to hearing from suitable candidates with a shared vision of success, enthusiasm, teamwork and initiative.  This is a new post not a replacement and reflects how the business is expanding with plenty of untapped opportunities.

As Chef you will:

• Demonstrate experience of working in a busy and safe working environment whilst maintaining excellent relationships with all staff;
• Evidence minimum experience of three years;
• Be responsible for the provision of an agreed daily menu using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients;
• Complete HSE and food safety protocols and documentation as required;
• Order stock in a timely and efficient manner;
• Maintain required GP% and budgets;
• Work full time including weekends and public holidays with a minimum two days off per week. No Christmas Day shift;
• Hold relevant food hygiene certification;
• Have access to own transport; and
• Receive pension contribution and staff discounts.

An opportunity has arisen for a Brewery Drayman to join our expanding Brewery business located in Cheriton, near Alresford, Hampshire.

The Flower Pots Brewery is Hampshire’s oldest independent Brewery with a significant and loyal following throughout the county and is expanding both production and product lines.

This is a full time role which requires a flexible and self-motivated attitude with excellent people skills. The job comprises the following:

• Trade deliveries to pubs and clubs plus home deliveries to our retail customers; and
• Assisting the Brewery team as required.

To qualify for this role, the candidate must have the following requirements:

• Current full UK Driving Licence for a vehicle up to 3.5t;
• Be physically fit, with appropriate strength and stamina for manual handling of casks weighing up to 50kgs;
• Team player;
• Good with detail, methodical and able to self-manage; and
• Professional approach to all procedures and systems.

Renumeration Package

• Competitive salary package (£27,000+) dependent upon experience;
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday;
• 28 days holiday allowance, inc. bank holidays;
