How many hop varieties do we use in a calendar year at The Flower Pots Brewery?
We have just signed our forward hops contract with our friends Charles Faram & Co Limited, so it got us thinking. How many of you know the number of different types of hops that we use for our many beers? Whether an East Kent Golding or a Pilgrim from the UK, or Amarillo or Willamette from the USA, or Nelson Sauvin from NZ, we carefully choose the freshest hops from the 2020 crops for our brews. What have we got planned for this year? Well, apart from our regular Goodens Gold, Pots Bitter and Perridge Pale, we will be brewing Buster’s Best, Flower Pots IPA and Cheriton Porter with more regularity, together with our specials, Wildfire (Brewing Today!), Hopton Pale, Elder Ale, Opus, Stormchaser, Four Candles, Pastures Old and many more.
If you would like to win a £30 Beer Voucher, please email prize@theflowerpots.co.uk with your best guess (only one number allowed!) before midnight Friday 5th February and we will contact the winners by email by noon on Sunday 7th February. We are giving away 5 Beer Vouchers of £30 each. If there are more than five correct answers, we will draw the winners out of a Flower Pots pint glass! Good luck. (The Vouchers entitle you to purchase Beer to the value of £30 – there will be no cash credits).

The Brewery is open for Click & Collect Monday to Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday noon until 7pm or for FREE deliveries to all mainland Hampshire postcodes. As long as we receive your order before 11pm, our beer will be delivered the following day Monday to Saturday. Buy Beer.

The Inn is serving freshly cooked Click & Collect Takeaway Food every Wednesday and Friday 5.30 until 8pm.
