Sounds like a movie!
We installed a new big Conditioning Tank last year and it has been working overtime. It makes us much more efficient and the beer tastes even better as we hold the brews in tank for longer.
So, we decided to buy another CT to allow us to meet demand and also get more seasonal beers brewed. We spoke to Malcolm at Malrex in Burton upon Trent and with a minor tweak on the design and after much welding, up turned a giant 20 BBL tank, which equates to 3,250 litres of beer.
First time round it took us five hours to install, but this time we had a few friendly builders around so it took a fraction of the time! It was still a tight squeeze.
Tank no. 9 is now in use and conditioning our beer beautifully.
