Brewed for Christmas
It really is a very special beer. We get asked all year round when Pastures Old is going to be ready. Well it is now and a firkin just disappeared like that last night – it is drinking brilliantly. One brew only, some of which Miki the brewer is maturing in a bourbon cask for release next summer. Time cannot pass quickly enough.

“Brewed for the Christmas season, our Pastures Old is an Old Ale in the truest sense. Rich, dark and luxurious, this full bodied 5.8% winter ale is earthy and spiced, with hints of plum, date and big intense fruits. Just like a Fruit Cake, but better! Brewed with Brewers Gold hops and a complex grain of deep coloured malts. Named after The Pastures in our lovely village of Cheriton, Hampshire.”
