New Cask Washer

A few weeks ago, we welcomed Tim Crane to the Brewery to commission our new hand built cask washer.  For years we have been steam cleaning our casks individually to remove all potential imperfections.  This has kept the team extremely busy, albeit with a certain lack of efficiency.

So we decided to take the plunge and invest in a state of the art cask washer, which not only does a great job, but significantly and meaningfully reduces our waste water by about 42%.

As and when we add any keg products to our range of beers, the machine is easily converted.

We are gradually updating our kit as we grow, without losing sight of our traditional brewing ethos.
